Vacuum Test Systems
The
DVI Model 2000 Thermal Vac. Test System is designed
expressly for the proving of space flight hardware. The system
provides a clean, temperature controlled, high vacuum environment
for testing of space-based or high altitude components.
Features:
- Pentium®
P.C. based operating system utilizing Windows NT® and National
Instruments Labview for control and monitoring of system status.
Automatically controls vacuum and thermal cycling for unattended
operation.
- The color
touch screen operator interface provides easy on-screen control
and display of vacuum system status. Thermal controls include
P.I.D. heat/cool with ramp-soak recipe generation and retrieval.
- Available
opetions include Zip or Jaz drives for continuous data logging
and/or recipe storage and an alarm phone paging systems.
- 20"
diameter x 22" deep horizontal cylandrical vacuum chamber
with four access ports. ISO 160 clamp flanges are standard,
providing 6" access ports, 2 on each side. (Other flange
configurations are available, including view-ports)
- 17"
W x 20" L black anodized aluminum thermal plate with an
embedded electric heating element and gun drilled passages for
LN2 cooling, which provides a temperature range of -150°C
to 200°C
- Standard
pumping for the Model 2000 is a 250 L/S turbomolecular pump
and Alcatel 2021

The
DVI Model 3600 Thermal Vac. Test System is designed
expressly for the proving of space flight hardware. The system
provides a clean, temperature controlled, high vacuum environment
for testing of space-based or high altitude components.
Features:
- This fully
automatic system with microproscessor based programmable controller
provides rotary switch selection of pumpdown, venting and cryopump
regeneration cycles. Automatic mode allows unattended pumpdown
from atmosphere to high vacuum and initiation of thermal tesst
cycle (if enabled).
- Thermal
test cycle is controlled by a Eurotherm model 818 temperature
controller/programmer with Digital display.
- 36"
diameter x 64" deep horizontal cylindrical vacuum chamber
with twelve access ports,consisting of four 10" ASA {2
on each } and eight ISO 160 clamp flanges standard { 4 on each
side,other flange configurations available,including view-ports}.
- Full opening
hinged front door,also available with an optional view-port.
- 24"W
x 48" L black anodized aluminum thermal plate with embedded
electric heating elements and LN{2] cooling lines provided a
temperature range of-150° C to 200° C.
- Standard
pumping for the model 3600 is the CTI Cryo-Torr 10 and Alcatel
2033 mechanical pump.
- The test
chamber is supported by a fully enclosed powder coated cabinet
with easily removable panels to allow convenient access to vacuum
pumps,valves and controls.
